Bill Summary:

• Prohibits the intentional injection, release, or dispersion, by any means, of chemicals, chemical compounds, substances, or apparatus into the atmosphere within the borders of Tennessee for the express purpose of affecting temperature, weather, or the intensity of sunlight.

•Applies to intentional atmospheric activities conducted within the State of Tennessee.

• Adds the prohibition to Tennessee Code Annotated, Title 68, Chapter 201 (Environmental Protection).

• Makes Tennessee the first state to enact a statutory prohibition on intentional atmospheric geoengineering and weather modification activities of this type
